One of the restaurant’s main attractions is undoubtedly its prestigious wine cellar, which was created by owner Peter Katsoudas and is maintained by sommelier Patrik Schmidt. With 2000 square feet cradling more than 9600 bottles, and with 600 à-la-carte wine selections, Rib’n Reef’s wine cellar continues to garner honours and awards. The restaurant has received Wine Spectator Magazine’s Award of Excellence every year since 2002; and in 2003, the Rib’n Reef was awarded the Carte d’or, a prestigious honour from the Collège des Ambassadeurs du vin au Québec. Its extensive selection includes a number of private imports, exclusive wines, and special blends. Each bottle has its own personality: heady… lingering… smooth, with prices ranging from $40 to $10,500 – what more could you want to thoroughly indulge your senses!
